Delhi Metro is a world class travel system, covering entire city with a fast, convenient, affordable and safe travel. The maps below show a detailed route followed by Delhi Metro with a detailed description of the facility.

 

 

Red Line- Travels from Rithala to Dilshad Garden via stations- Starting from Rithala, then Rohini west, Rohini east, Pitam pura, Kohat Enclave, Netaji Subhas place, Keshav puram, Kanhaiya nagar, Inderlok, Shastri nagar, Pratap nagar, Pulbangash, Tis hazari, Kashmere gate, Shastri Park, Seelam pur, Welcome, Shahdara, GTB Hospital, Jhilmil and Dilshad Garden.

At Inderlok metro station, there is a connecting metro line to Green line towards Mundka.

At Kashmere gate metro station, Red line is connecting to yellow line for way towards Jahangir puri or Huda city centre metro station (Gurgaon).

 

Yellow Line-  Travels from Jahangir puri to Huda city centre (Gurgaon) via stations- Starting from Jahangir puri, then Adarsh nagar, Ajad pur, Model town, GTB nagar, Vishwa Vidyalaya, Vidhan sabha, Civil lines, Kashmere gate, Chandni chowk, Chawri bazaar, New Delhi, Rajiv chowk, Patel chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog bhawan, Race course, Jor bagh, INA, AIIMS, Green park, Hauj khas, Malviya nagar, Saket, Qutub minar, Chhatarpur, Sultanpur, Ghitorni, Arjangarh, Guru Dronacharya, Sikanderpur, MG road, Iffco chowk and Huda city centre.

At Kashmere gate metro station, there is connecting metro line for Rithala and Dilshad garden metro station on another way.

At New Delhi metro station, Yellow line is connected to Airport Express line to travel Indira Gandhi Airport.

At Rajiv chowk metro station, it is connected to Blue line for Dwarka and Noida city centre & Vaishali on other side.

At Central Secretariat metro station, it is connected to Violet line for Badarpur metro station.

 

Blue Line- Travels from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida city centre (Noida) and Vaishali by dividing the rail route after Yamuna bank metro station. Starting from Dwarka sector 21 metro station it follows Dwarka sector 8, Dwarka sector 9, Dwarka sector 10, Dwarka sector 11, Dwarka sector 12, Dwarka sector 13, Dwarka sector 14, Dwarka, Dwarka mod, Nawada, Uttam nagar east, Uttam nagar west, Janak puri west, Janak puri east, Tilak nagar, Subhash nagar, Tagore garden, Rajouri garden, Ramesh nagar, Moti nagar, Kirti nagar, Shadi pur, Patel nagar, Rajendra place, Karol bagh, Jhandewalan, Ramakrishna ashram marg, Rajiv chowk, Barakhamba road, Mandi house, Pragati maidan, Indraprastha and Yamuna bank.

After Yamuna bank metro station, the track divides into two routes. One towards Noida City Centre Metro station and other towards Vaishali Metro station.

For Noida city centre, after Yamuna bank metro station, it follows Akshardham, Mayur vihar 1, Mayur vihar extension, New Ashok nagar, Noida sector 15, Noida sector 16, Noida sector 18, Botanical garden, Golf course and Noida city centre.

For Viashali, after Yamuna bank metro station, it follows, Lakshmi nagar, Nirman vihar, Preet vihar, Karkarduma, Anand vihar, Kaushambi and Vaishali.

At Kirti nagar metro station, Blue line is connected to Green line towards Mundka metro station and also connects it to Red line at Inderlok from this connection.

At Rajiv chowk metro station, it is connected to Yellow line to travel Jahangir puri or Huda city centre on other side.

 

Green Line- Travels from Mundka and connects to Red line at Inderlok metro station via Rajdhani park, Nangloi railway station, Nangloi, Surajmal stadium, Udyog nagar, Peera garhi, Paschim vihar west, Paschim vihar east, Madi pur, Shivaji park, Punjabi bagh, Ashok park and then connected to Red line at Inderlok metro station.

It is also connects to Blue line at Kirti nagar metro station via Satguru Ramsingh marg metro station diverting from Ashok park metro station.

 

Violet Line- Travels from Badarpur and connects to Yellow line at Central Secretariat via Tughlakabad, Moahn estate, Sarita vihar, Jasola-Apollo, Okhla, Govind puri, Kalkaji, Nehru place, Kailash colony, Moolchand, Lajpat nagar, Jangpura, JLM stadium, Khan market and Central Secretariat.

 

Airport Express Line- Travels from Indira Gandhi International Airport and connects to Yellow line at New Delhi metro station via Delhi aero city, Dhaula kuan, Shivaji stadium and New Delhi.

Metro Timings- Metro services starts at 6:00 am in the morning and run till 11:00 pm. Expect for Airport Express line which starts at 5:00 am in the morning. The frequency of metro services varies from one line to other line and peak hours to non peak hours. During peak hours it is generally 3 minutes and lasts to 12 minutes during non peak hours.

 

Metro Fares- Minimum travel fare in metro is Rs. 8 and maximum is Rs. 30. Except for Airport Express line, which is having separate fare structure for its express service. A token is provided against the cash to travel in a metro. Optionally one can also obtain a permanent card, with prepaid option to recharge it with minimum of Rs. 100 and maximum of Rs. 1000. A security payment of Rs. 50 is to be charged, which is refundable. using a metro card helps in avoiding queue time for obtaining a token and it also provides a facility to check you amount balance.
